To see the world just a little better for the contributions I have made, and to do so without the motivation of fanfare, seems the ultimate of selfless giving to which I aspire.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Mitchell is qualified to address clients’ needs, whether through developing a comprehensive financial plan or addressing specific issues within investing, retirement planning, estate planning and risk management/insurance. Charlotte Flanagan– Office Manager
Charlotte joined Kauffman Wealth Management in June of 2017 and oversees all aspects of client account services. She is the direct liaison for client relations and is committed to delivering our core value of exceptionally personalized service. Prior to joining KWM, she held positions with JPMorgan Chase Bank, Northwestern Mutual, and most recently, Bernstein Private Wealth Management. During her seven years in the financial services industry, Charlotte has developed a passion for client service excellence and the operational aspects of the business.
Charlotte earned her Bachelors of Science degree from University of La Verne. She currently hold Series 7, and 63 registrations, CA Life Insurance license, and is a Notary Public. In her free time, Charlotte enjoys volunteering with a number of local non-profit organizations, including Peace Over Violence, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles, and Inside Out Writers. She also enjoys hiking in national parks, and traveling.
Robert Roesener– Registered Associate
Robert supports our team’s analytical research oversight, a crucial activity that helps assure account and transaction accuracy. In doing so he delivers valuable assistance to both our Operations and Client Service groups, with a focus on research, investment monitoring and internal account maintenance.
Originally from Honolulu, HI, Robert earned his Bachelors in Economics from Loyola Marymount University with an emphasis in International Finance and graduated as a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Economics Honor Society. Robert has completed the Personal Financial Planning program at UCLA and will sit for the upcoming CFP® exam. Prior to joining Kauffman Wealth Management, Robert worked with a local financial advisor and investment management firm. Robert’s experiences in both school and his working career has led him to strongly believe in the concept that “Planning is bringing the future into the present so that you can do something about it now.” Financial planning offers a solution to one of the most important concerns facing individuals- the knowledge that one’s financial future is in order.
While not in the office, Robert enjoys surfing and is an avid Cross Fit athlete.
Ekaterina “Katrina” Sable– Registered Associate
Katrina joined Kauffman Wealth Management in early 2016 and supports research and analysis, operations and client service. Dedicated to offering the highest standards of service, she works diligently to help our clients plan for their future, and ultimately enhance their lives today.
She earned a Master of Science in Economics from Baikal National University of Economics and Law in Chita, Russia, with advanced standing in Mathematics.
Katrina is licensed with Series 7, 66 and is currently working toward earning a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Originally from Russia, Katrina moved to United States at the age of 21 to pursue a career in finance. She spent several years in marketing prior to joining Kauffman Wealth Management. In her spare time, Katrina enjoys staying active, hiking and playing tennis with her husband, Wayne.
Kelly Smith– Administrative Assistant
Kelly spearheads our “Service First” commitment with dedicated, proactive attention to all aspects of client accounts, operations and compliance. She handles non-account related services for our valued clients, manages operations and oversees compliance. Prior to her move to Santa Barbara in 2007, Kelly worked as an Administrative Assistant at Kauffman Wealth Management. Since then, she has worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern and later as Admissions Director for an independent school in Santa Barbara. She relocated back to Pasadena in 2014 and re-joined the KWM team. Kelly is delighted to be a part of such a supportive, enthusiastic, experienced team. As Helen Keller said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
Kelly earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of California, Santa Barbara and her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College. She lives in Pasadena with her husband, Jeremy, their two daughters, a cat named Buddy, an 85-year old desert tortoise, and three fish.
